Erika Brand

Legal Assistant

Erika Brand is an legal assistant at Insight Law Professional Corporation. She recently earned her LL.B. from the University of Sussex and is also completing her Honours B.A. in Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University. Erika has successfully completed her National Accreditation Exams and is beginning her legal career in Ontario with a strong interest in real estate, business, and wills & estates law.

During law school, Erika gained practical experience through the Migration Law Clinic at the University of Sussex, where she advised clients, conducted legal research, and drafted detailed letters of advice. She also strengthened her advocacy and communication skills through moot court, client interviewing competitions, and a mini-pupillage at New Square Chambers in London, where she observed court proceedings and gained exposure to litigation strategy and client representation.

Before joining Insight Law, Erika also held several client-facing and administrative roles, which helped her develop a strong foundation in organization, professionalism, and communication. She is known for her thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and ability to work calmly in fast-paced environments. Erika is excited to support the firm’s clients and contribute to the team while continuing to build her practice experience.
