Hiya Goel

Legal Student

Hiya Goel is a high school student at University of Toronto Schools, currently serving as a Legal Assistant and Summer Intern at Insight Law. She brings a strong foundation in research, advocacy, and public speaking, along with a demonstrated passion for social justice and civic engagement.

She has cultivated her legal interests through mock trials, Model United Nations, and youth political forums including the Forum for Young Canadians. Her work at Insight Law involves case and memoranda editing, legal research, article and newsletter writing, and social media management.

Outside of her role at Insight Law, Hiya is actively involved in environmental advocacy, educational equity projects, and competitive debate. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, following international affairs, and watching tennis.
